Undeterred by the sub-zero weather conditions and heavy snowfall, the Army is continuously striving to provide all necessary assistance to the Awaam.
At Larnoo, the Army in conjunction with the Civil Authorities facilitated a snow clearance drive at important nodes like local Health Centre and Hospital, alongside assisting the vehicles and ambulance stuck in snow and thereby, ensuring smooth flow of traffic. The Army is in direct touch with the Civil Authorities and locals, and the Army Teams are out to help the Awaam in any way possible.
While at Baramulla, the remote villages have been cut off due to heavy snowfall and to cater for the medical needs of the villagers, the Army conducted a special Medical Camp. A team of Army Doctors carried out medical checkup and provided basic medical aid to the people suffering from illness due to the prevailing extreme cold weather. The villagers were also guided and educated about the best practices for health and hygiene during the present harsh winter weather.
The Awaam expressed their gratitude and appreciation towards the Army for their humanitarian gesture at this hour of need.
